How Much Does Couples Counselling Cost?

A couples counselling session with ActWise Therapy costs €75 and lasts 55 minutes. The price is per session, not per person. The first session is a regular session at the same price.

• Package of 5 sessions: €350, which is €70 per session

• Package of 10 sessions: €650, which is €65 per session

What is included

Each session is 55 minutes by video with couples counsellor Lena Johansen, and you both take part. Sometimes you will also have something to try at home before next time.

How many sessions do we need?

The number of sessions is what decides the total cost, and it varies from couple to couple.

For one specific question, a few sessions can be enough. If the pattern has been running for years, more are usually needed. You check in along the way and you decide when you are done.

Single session or package?

A single session suits you if you want to try it before deciding on anything more.

A package gives a lower price per session and makes it easier to keep the work going. Five sessions give you time to notice whether the sessions are making a difference. Ten sessions suit you when you know you want to work on something that has been going on for a long time.

Cancelling and rescheduling

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the booked session. Late cancellations and missed sessions are charged in full. Rescheduling is possible with at least 24 hours' notice.

Is it worth the money?

Only you can decide that. One question that may help is what it costs you to carry on as you are, in arguments, distance and energy.
